* What are the benefits of blind contour, negative space, and value drawings?
I think their benefit is that you won’t concentrate much on how well the drawing is looking but on how the object actually looks like and how all the values are shown. The benefits for negative space is that it gives us a clear focus on what the object is and it has the power to out-stand the feature. Values can create contrasts and adds emphasis to the drawing making it look realistic.
* How might you incorporate these drawing practices in future art projects?
I think I would be able to use blind contouring for future warmups because it helps our wrist get ready and it doesn’t gives us any pressure that we have to draw good exactly like the object. I would use negative space when I would want to make my drawing look attractive and make the audience curious about my drawing because negative space is putting on dark backgrounds behind the object so if we don’t look closely, we might not be able to know what the object is. Lastly for value drawing, I think it is included in almost any kind of drawing that needs value for shadows, emphasis, or dimensions.
