My observational drawings and coloring, this is also my first plant/drawings for my eyeglasses design to make. I get this idea from a famous artist, he created the “De Stijl” kind of drawings like this:

These are my Rough sketches of “orthographic drawings”, from the front, top, side views to show the details of each concept from different views.

later on, I have moved on to making a model of the glasses Chelsea-card-5mm-pdf, this is from the Affinity app. I export them to make a cardboard model using the laser cutter ( first try).

( a new glasses idea I used during trying the Affinity, an idea from a movie that spy ware. Because I can’t make the lens, so I renew it. )

Final pieces of the eyeglasses design! I choose the one I get the idea from the movie. And these are the poster that I make to show my final design.look forward to a

Design Challenge

Design Problem is:

The MSHS Design Center in ISB is a wonderful space, and we are all appreciative of the ways it enhances our learning of Design, Engineering, and Visual Arts! However, the open plan of the space has created some challenges for teachers and students, and we are looking for creative solutions to the problems of:             -acoustic insulation: There is too much disruption caused when multiple classes are being held in the open areas.
-visual distraction: When multiple groups of students or teachers are active in the area it can be difficult to focus.

Design Challenge

The idea came from and making:

The above is the poster I made for this design challenge. My idea mainly comes from the blue partition in the school cafeteria, which is the “separation wall” for exams. From my model (cardboard model) the poster, I can see a retractable partition board, and it can divide a large classroom into two small studios from the middle. This also solves the problem of noisy work in large areas. Then, from the material of the isolation board I chose this time, one board is a whiteboard (for teachers and students to teach and record), and the other is glass, which not only blocks the sound but also has a sense of perspective.
