The French Revolution: A Society Changing Event in First Person

Chance, the owner of this Journal, is a peasant who was chosen as one of the representatives of the third estate. He was 20 years old when the revolution started and survived through the entire revolution and witnessed many key events of the revolution.

Some of the things that stayed the same were the size of France and religion. Although religion was slightly impacted, however, it still carried through the revolution. Some of the things that changed were inequality, governing, and the sacrifice of 15000 people.

The French Revolution was a dramatic and bloody event that happened during late 1700. The people of France were unhappy about the inequality of power and economy as France was heavily divided into three estates. Because of this, the peasants (Third Estate) of France came together and sparked the idea of the French Revolution. Over time, the French Revolution greatly affected history and influenced many other successful revolutions. Above is a 5-minute video about the key events and of this revolution.
