During our project, we have been researching and experimenting with different types of materials, shapes, and sizes for our parachute and suspension cords. We have made some changes to our design variables for the suspension cords they used to be yarn and now it is going to be twine (thin string). For this project, I am investigating how the length of the suspension cords will affect the accuracy and the speed of landing.

Data Collection Procedure

1. Set up phone
2. Hold package over the target and in line with the 2-metre mark
3. Press record
4. Count down for three seconds
5. Drop package
6. Stop video
7. Insert video into logger pro
8. Analyse data and record into the data table
9. Repeat steps 1-9 with other variables
