Cell phone is an abject the at discharges radio frequency energy, a form of non-ionizing which can be absorbed by tissues close to the phone. This detrimental object should not be allowed in school especially for students because it distracts students from learning and it decreases the student’s ability to do face to face communication. Although many people say that they need cell phones for emergency purposes but schools are able to handle these situations. Therefor schools should ban cell phones.

 

Schools should ban cell phones because it distracts students from learning. Research done by the community college showed that 97% of the students get distracted in class due to cell phones. Out of 97% of student 75%of students texted in class, 70% used social media, 40% surfed the internet and 10% played games in class this shows that only some of the students pay attention is class but the students can get distracted easily by the cell phone using friends. And this can really distract that student because a student can message a friend then the friend will also get distracted. Also, a research was done why the community college which they banned phone and examined students’ reactions and 11% of the students said they couldn’t resist using their phone. This clarifies that most of the students are almost addicted to their phone so they can’t resist using their phone in class. Because of this reason schools should ban cell phones.

 

Secondly, schools should ban cell phones because cell phones decrease the student’s ability to problem solve a situation and the ability to do face to face communication. Research done in America shows that face to face communication usually comes to agreeing. This demonstrates that when face to face communication you can express and show your feelings more clear than digital calling. It basically means that doing face to face communication can make a healthy relationship. Therefore schools should ban cell phones.

 

Although many people say that they need cell phones for family emergency’s and natural disasters but it is just an excuse just to have you phone. First of all, when there is a family emergency the parents can call or contact the school to tell the student know then the school will send someone to let the student know in no time. Secondly natural disasters are things like blizzards, floods, hurricanes, earthquake, Dam failures, etc; but these things are extremely rare to happen however the teachers and the security guards are educated to handle these kinds of situation so the students just have to follow the teachers and the guards words which does not require you phone except the face that you want to post on your social media. In the end there’s no phone needed so school should ban cell phone.

 

In conclusion school should can cell phones because it distracts students from learning and it decreases the student’s ability to problem solve and do face to face communication. Although there are many other parts where phones are used for education but overall it is just a distraction for the students.
