Banning single-use plastic is an effective way to save out oceans. Firstly, plastic takes a long time to degrade. Secondly, marine life are endangered for single-use plastic pollution. Even though some say that plastic is irreplaceable and makes a perfect material, plastic could be replaced by bamboo and other natural product.

Firstly, banning single-use plastic saves our oceans because plastic products take a long time to decompose, and could cause major problems while slowly decomposing. “Plastic bottles take 450 years to decompose “(storage.neic.com), “plastic items takes more a thousand year to decompose”(storage.neic.com). which lasts more than ten generations! And since it’s not decomposing, it will be entangling plants, it will also remain in animal stomach for all of their life,  which will be talked about later. Banning single-use plastic is an effective way to save out oceans making it disappear over time.

Moreover, banning single-use plastic is also effective when it come to saving marine life. “Marine life can be entangled in a variety of ocean debris including nets, lines, and lures”(Henn, 2019), trapped fish that died starving is what’s happening. “Marine animals mistake plastic waste for a viable food source, causing blockages in their digestive system” (Henn, 2019), the fast that the fishes have plastic in their stomach causes them to be full, always, so they can’t eat anything, another problem is that when we eat them fishes, we eat micro-plastic that we cannot see. If there are no plastic there are no unnatural deaths, and people could achieve that by banning single-use plastic.

Even though some people think that banning single-use plastic is not as effective and could not be replaced, for it’s simple and easy way of use. But actually, it could be replaced by bamboo or other natural products. Take bamboo for instance, “Bamboo can grow without fertilizers or pesticides. Bamboo is naturally anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. Bamboo can regrow to adult size to be harvested within 3 to 5 years. Bamboo can grow in many different kinds of environments (China, Africa, South America, USA). Bamboo is biodegradable. Bamboo produces 35% more oxygen compared to similar plants. Bamboo naturally helps rebuild eroded soil. Bamboo almost never needs replanting. Bamboo is an extremely durable material. Bamboo requires far less water than similar plants, therefore often requiring no irrigation systems.”(storage.neic.com), well at least bamboo is easily decomposed and at least wouldn’t be stuck in animal digestive system. Obviously banning single-use plastic could not do any harm to the environment.

What am i most proud of: i played the best in my group or maybe the whole band & the shape of my trumpet is the best shape.

What could i do differently: i could have decorated the horn differently, and perhaps put some holes on it.

• My biggest success was that my phone fits.

• One thing I’d like to change is that i made my opening too small, it’s hard to take the phone out.

• Overall, I think this product was unsuccessful because it’s hard to take my phone out, the box broke because the magnet is too strong, and i don’t have any decorations.

Sometime people’s choice just cannot be well made, and sometime even demigods are troubled with such horror, for example, Percy Jackson is one of the many victims, suffering in the fate of an easily triggered body. But there are ways that Percy Jackon could use to make good choices that could benefit him in his future days, like managing emotions and having positive relations. 

First, although many times he was making bad reckless choices, he wouldn’t have such violent tendency if he managed his emotions. Such as in the PJATLT book where he managed his emotion, “I wanted to get angry, he pushed me so hard”(Pg7, PJLT book, Rick Riordan) which he managed his emotions and didn’t get angry, so it said in the book “if you found yourself having negative thoughts, look for evidence against them” (Pg18, article of Managing Emotions, Skillsyouneed.com, 2019). That was an example of him managing his emotion, but on the contrary, there are time where he failed to control, “I got so frustrated I threw my Cambridge Guide to Greek Mythology across the dorm room”, (Pg18, PJLT book, Rick Riordan), this problem might be solved if Percy read the article, which said “Watching a bit TV, reading, or surfing the internet will probably help you forget that you were feeling a bit down”(Pg18, article of Managing Emotions, Skillsyouneed.com, 2019). Clearly Percy Jackson could manage his emotions and make good not-reckless choices. 

Having positive relationships could also be very useful in ways you wouldn’t understand, sometimes effects the outcome of choices, bad once. positive relationships will make Percy think of bad outcomes that could happen to his friend if he executed the wrong doings, here’s an example, “Grover tried to calm me down.” (Pg3, PJLT book, Rick Riordan). Percy’s violent tendency did great favor of helping him get angry, but that ok, because Grover stopped him from being reckless, which perfectly describes “The support offered by a caring friend can provide a buffer against the effects of stress” (Pg28 article of why personal relationship are important, takingcharge.csh.umn.edu, 2018, Dec 6th). Percy’s mother did also reduce stress, but with such easy way, “My mother can make me feel good by walking into the room” (Pg32, PJLT book, Rick Riordan). And here it repeats “friendship bonds can help reduce stress, increase happiness and bolster self-confidence” (Pg23, article of Positive relationships, Washington post, adapted by Newsela staff). Thinking of how choices could affect positive relationship, or how positive relationships would think if bad choice were made, a normal person could not possibly make such choices. 

Sometimes people’s choice just cannot be well made, but sometimes they could, later on in the PJLT book, Percy Jackson’s personality had changed a lot, he started to care for friends and manage emotions; he started to make good choices, choice that helped him on his quest and that made him a hero.

When the user uses the phone for too long, the phone case burns. his/her hand, she/he will then be informed that he/she must socialize to get her phone back, if save tries to break the case, she will then get electrified and be scared for life, the case cannot be taken off. The recording pen records the words and faces, and will automatically send a message to inform the phone that she could use again, and that’s, what I call future tech.

My biggest success is making the product beautiful, and designed effectively.

My biggest obstacle is my group keep asking me how can I cook the rice, I said I imagine, which is was they did. and they kept doing it, and it’s really annoying.

One thing I’d like to change is putting a fake steaming devise to “steam the rice”. so it can satisfy my group

Percy Jackson is an easily triggered, troublemaking, distracted person. From, “I’m going to kill her”, and “I wished I’d decked her” in page3 it is clear to see that he is reckless and do not think of any consequences of his upcoming behavior, and is easily triggered by assaults on close relations. From this very quote, “Bad things happens to me on field trips”, on page2, and all the examples that the he explained, supported the fact that he is a troublemaker, and not learning from his unacceptable mistakes. Also from “Will you shut up!” In page5, it could be contented that Percy Jackson is easily distracted by random happenings, and can not concentrate on an easily-concentrated event.
