when the year began, harry potter was warned that there is a plot that someone is going to kill him. dobby the house elf told harry to not to go to Hogwarts. Dobby is angry that the muggles found out and hit himself with a lamp. when harry tried to get on to the platform, he was too late, it was already eleven o’ clock. harry and Ron, his best friend tried to get in by the magical flying car. when they flew, the invisibility system did not seem to work. obviously the work of Dobby’s. when they landed on the grounds of Hogwarts, they found that the car is moving by it’s self-work of Dobby’s- and is on the whooping willow, a tree that attacks things. they found out that ginny, Ron’s sister (Harry’s future love) is in Gryffindor, like all of the Weasleys. they found out that a new teacher arrived for the vacant position of defence against the Dark arts class. then, he starts to hear strange noises. then, in the first duel club, Harry Potter found out that he was a parselmouth- a person who can speak to snakes. Harry Potter then found that there are killing. soon harry potter found the chamber of secrets and killed tom riddle- voldemort.

i can connect this with lots of other books because it is about adventure. many other books i have read are about adventure.

i think the theme of this wook is adventure because HP goes on to a dangerous adventure in this book

harry potter was the boy who escaped lord voldemort, he is brave and courageous and never fails to take up a challenge.
