Dwight D. Eisenhower was the commander in chief of the D-day invasion plan. he and his SHAEF (Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force) team planed the invasion. he wanted good weather and lots of fog so the enemy couldn’t see the allies. he was the 34 president and one of the most successful ones.

summery (what i learned)

i learned that the operation was originally planed for June 5th but was canceled because the weather condition. so, the operation happened on the next day, June 6th.
