Teens At War

many brave souls have risked their lives to serve their country. many teens have also served their country and many were underaged.

Peter was a orphan who worked at a plantation. he had muscles of steel. he fought the enemy courageously and won many battles. even the George Washington have said “without him, the USA would have lost 2 major battle, the war, and will that, our freedom.”

peter became a flag bearer and i know another person in the civil war who was a flag bearer so i knew why it was so extreme and dangerous and why it’s important to be and have a flag bearer.

the theme of the story is the that if you are courageous, you can do anything

twenty and ten

this book is about a few Jewish students that were hiding form the german soldiers. they’re teacher was captured and they went to hide in a hole they found. at the end, the germans found out that the baby was called jesus and the germans went away in terror.

the baby, called jesus at the end accidentally help the germans because the germans bribed him with candy and food.

i can connect this with other ww2 holocaust books so i can understand why the Jewish people feel and act in a particular way.

the theme in this book is, never give up, even if you are captured, if you never give up, you can someday escape. i think this is the theme in this book because the Jewish were captured but at the end, they escaped because they never gave up.

Alice in wonderland

Alice is a girl who is very curious. she falls in a deep hole to another world. in that world, people can shrink and become bigger by just eating and drinking. for example, when she eats a cake, she gets really big while i she drinks a bottle of water, she gets really small.

I can connect this book to many other mysterious books so i know how and why the characters will react to different things.

alice falls in a big hole, gets really big and sometimes shrinks, she gets into many problems such as getting too high or shrinking too low. at the end, She found out it was all a dream.

cooking

I learned that cooking also used fractions so fractions are very important. we needed to use equivalent fractions to use the least cups.

I also learned that it is important to preheat the oven because the oven will be hot when we use it.

finally, I learned that it will be very tasty.

Alice in wonderland

Alice is a girl that fell in a hole to another world. she could turn smaller and bigger by eating different foods. fore example, one side of the mushroom makes her smaller while the other makes her bigger. she meets many creatures but finds out it was all a dream.

Alice is very adventurous and plays croquet.

I read many other books that had the same theme so i can understand it better.

Alex Rider : Scorpia Rising

Alex rider is being chased by scorpia again! Scorpia has tricked Alex in coming to them because they captured Jack Starbright and forced Alex to come or they will kill her. Alex went but got captured. at the end he escaped. but jack was killed to test the pain. he went to America at the end

Alex rider is a adventurous orphan boy who was followed by scorpia. he was cared for by Jack but jack got killed so he was really sad.

I read many books like this so i know why he will do something

Teens at war

in the book, there was a character called Calvin faked his way in to the army while he was twelve years old. he soon found himself fighting kamikaze pilots during the battle of Guadalcanal.

in the wars, people has answered the call of duty many times, but it isn’t just adults that sacrificed themselves for the sake of their country, but it wasn’t just adults that has answered, teenagers has also answered and many were underage.

i read another book about soldiers that fought underaged and many were very heroic.

Teens at war

there were many wars that have happened. Many people has answered the call of duty of their homeland. but adults weren’t the only people willing to give their lives to defend their country. teens have fought too, and many were underage. the usual age to fight in most wars are 16-17 years old, but many teens have outsmarted the army so they can fight for their country.

a boy called ben wanted to fight in the civil war so he can help reunite the country and defeat the rebels. he enlisted as a drummer but his drum broke but fought on and became a color-bearer. it is a honer to carry the colors of a regiment but the color bearer was usually the first to get shot. he proudly caryed the color till the end of the war and was one of the first jewish soldiers -if not the first- to be awarded the highest honer in the military- the medal of honer.

The connection i have is with another soldier in the book. the soldier was also underage and also fought in the army. he also became a soldier

Pedro’s Journal

First, Pedro went to sea and he found a lot of seaweeds. months later, he found some land, the natives were nice at first and thought they were god but soon they started to get second thoughts and started being mean to them and even wanted to kill them, the sailers wanted to trade but the native were mean and attacked them. then they left the place and went away, on their trip home the pinta sailed away and left the niña.

Pedro was payed to go on the trip since he can write. he thought he was going to fall into space and die but he didn’t so he started to not believe it. people accused him of sinking the santa maria but he didn’t so he got really upset.

connections

I have an connection with the book and the westward expansion. In the book, the natives liked the sailers at the beginning but some of them attacked later on. in the westward expansion, the explorers were also greeted by natives but sometimes attacked by them, too
