The Sacrifice for America: From a Soldier’s Wife’s Perspective

Hermione is a continental army’s soldier’s wife. She has just moved to “America” with her husband hoping to start a life away from the control of the British government. As her husband becomes a soldier and stands for their beliefs, Hermione goes through a journey of supporting her husband and a 10 year process of fighting for America. She stands with her husband during the Boston Tea Party on December 16 1773, by his side in the Battle of Saratoga where he passed days before the victory, and praying for the best when news of the Treaty of Paris was signed on September 3rd, 1783.

The American Revolution was a very important revolution to the American and World History. It has impacted the government system and the Independence of America. It was also the cause of the French Revolution. After the revolution, there were more trade relationships, America began their own manufactures, women started taking a bigger role upon children’s education, and hundred thousands of slaves has deserted their masters. Not only this, but it began the British Commonwealth of Nations, and it’s a symbol of revolution and the end of oppression. Though, rich white men and merchants were still in great power of the economy and slavery still continued despite how some people revolted against the idea, and that sums up the American Revolution.

The American Revolution was made of a series of wars and conflicts between 1775 to 1783 through the 13 colonies that made of America in the time. These wars and conflicts were caused because the 13 colonies tried to disregard British’s rule at the time, and create the country they made up of. This Revolution was extremely important as it creates much of the United States of America today and it was the cause of the French Revolution.
