Course reflection
This is a reflection for the course “Circuits, e-Textiles, and Code, Oh My!-2 Blk 2E Tresohlavy 2020 S1”.
Describe your favorite circuit experience in the class to date and explain why it’s the best.
My favorite circuit experience was making the project circuit because I could make stuff and I enjoy making stuff.
Describe a challenge that you’ve overcome already in this class:
A challenge I have overcome in class was a previous circuit that I had messed up on and had to make another one. This was a challenge because
a. what made it a challenge
it was a challenge because I had to think of a new design and circuit and making it in around five minutes.
b. what you tried that didn’t work
The original project didn’t work because I made it a bit too complicated and I ran out of copper tape.
c. how you finally overcame it
I made another project.
Describe a difficulty you are currently having that you have not yet overcome.
A difficulty I have that I have not yet overcome(at this point in time) is writing this reflection.
a. what about it is challenging
There is not a lot of time left and I need to type fast.
b. what have you tried so far
Answering all the questions.
c. what are your next steps to continue trying to overcome it
Trying to finish this part of the assignment.
Explain one aspect of the class you really like and why you like it (This means Miss Kim shouldn’t change it).
I liked how there was free seating and it wasn’t assigned. I think i tend to work better when I am with people that I know.
Explain one aspect of the class you really dislike, why you dislike it, and how Miss Kim could change it to make it better.
I disliked the projects, though I understand that this cannot be changed. there are a lot of projects in isb that are similar to this where ether the finished project is the goal or there is no goal and the starting point is very vague. I enjoy making projects where the goal is the result and it is a one-person project. This gives me space to make my own project with a clear goal to reach.
Project reflection
Describe your project: the theme, the circuit, what the LEDs represent
My project’s theme was supposed to be set in space, with the words “Thank you, for being my friend”. There were LED stars that were supposed to light up and look like stars.
Include a picture or two (or three but no more) of your project here
Explain one aspect that you are happy with and why
I am happy with the colors that I used.
Explain one aspect you would do differently, how and why
I would make the design a little smaller and from far away because it doesn’t look like a helmet. I would try to not short circuit the other LED so that both of them would work.
