In this Socratic seminar, I did well on showing a clear understanding of their effects on the reader/audience, I built on others’ ideas and I contributed a number of ideas and questions. I still need to work on speaking fluently at an effective volume and pitch, conveying a good understanding of the text with a number of specific claims, and supporting my claims clearly and accurately with a relevant selection of evidence from the text, often citing the page number. My goal for next time is to use literary terms accurately, speak fluently at an effective volume, and pitch and express myself coherently. To achieve these goals, I should prepare more literary words for the discussion. Practice my speaking before the Socratic seminar and I should prepare more ideas.
