Today, we visited Liu Li Chang, a Chinese cultural painting street. The street had many shops (hutongs) which sold fans, stamps, calligraphy brushes, and much more. We also visited a printing factory, where we all got to try printing the character “福,” meaning luck, to take home.

photography elo – 798 (day 2)
Today we went to 798, an art district in the city. To start, the whole group visited the UCCA art museum and saw many different forms and types of artworks/sculptures. After, our group ate at a restaurant called Timezone, which served food of different cuisines.
photography elo – hong luo si (day 1)
Today, we went to visit the Buddhist temples and the park surrounding it. Because we couldn’t take photos of the statues and the inside of the temples, I took photos of the toboggan ride we went on, the waterfall near the garden, and the turtle pond we stopped at. Overall, despite the heat and bug bites, I enjoyed coming here.
