My name is Li Chen I am 17 years old and I was apart of the Red Guards. I use to think everything I did was always right, but I was wrong. After that one night out with my “friends” my whole world turned upside down. Who knew my life would turn upside down after one night?

After the revolution not many things have changed such as many people still supported Chairman Mao, China still followed the communist ways, and many ex-Red Guards didn’t know how to read, write, or do math well.

After the revolution many things have changed such as a new leader in charge, China’s economy had changed, and no more Red Guards could do as they like.
