Robotics Reflection

a. What are you most proud of?

I am most proud of my animal as it took the most energy and time to make.

b. What is something you would change if you did this again? (besides being at school with all the resources)

I would maybe add some actions in the fins (I didn’t do it this time because it’s too complicated and I didn’t have time)

c. What have you learned about yourself through this project?

I find myself very lazy as I didn’t start it until the week it was due on. I wasted a lot of time and next time I will start earlier and not stress myself out by starting on the last week.

Conclusion

As you can see, the Black death and SARS 2003 are completely different pandemics, with different death rates, symptoms, and area of affect. Some of the differences occur because of modern technology, and some because of the virus itself. Despite that, they also share things in common, and that is mainly the way of infection. In general,

the Black death and SARS 2003 had both similarities and differences. Although they are not the same deadly, but they both have a large effect on the world.

Life imitating art

This is the Life imitating art project in Drama and we are supposed to pick paintings and recreate them with things with have at home. In this project, I learned to make use of random things and make them into artworks. I felt that I utilized the items I have at home very good, and that I have tried my best.

DRAMA PROJECT (MEME-MORIES A)

Chinese New Year Door Decorations 2020

Hello everyone, this is my Chinese new year door decoration, which my partner (Harry cai) and I completed and installed in product design class. In this project, we designed a Chinese new year door decoration for a teacher or faculty’s door (Our teacher is Mr. Jeng).

One of the obstacles we faced during this project was time limit. We had trouble doing the amount of work we planned in the amount of time we had. Next time we will plan our work more carefully and be more efficient. If I were to do this project again, I would add a design of a lantern on top and a red packet under the mouse’s feet instead of being in his hands. Overall, I think this project was successful because we had finished and installed the decoration before class ended, and although the design was pretty simple, we were successful as it was pretty good looking.

Design Phone Case

One skill I learned to do in this project is to use adobe illustrator to construct lazer-cuttable items.

One thing I’d like to change is to add more detailed decorations onto the front (maybe a picture).

Overall, I think my phone case is successful because the phone fits (I made it for my mom) and it was good looking.

No-Device Device

This is my No-Device Device. This works by setting the time you can use your phone a day. After you use your phone for that specific amount of time, the screen on the case rolls down and locks. This is for parents as they need to control their kids’ phone use. Without the ability to use the phone, the kids will go out and socialize.
