In our first mini design project we needed to create something that’ll prevent our client’s favourite foods from being ruined. First we took notes on what their favourite foods are and what will ruin their favourite foods. Then we sketched out a few ideas. My final idea was The Nugget Coup. It helps keep the chicken nuggets warm and crunchy.

My biggest obstacle was to be able to make the door work how i wanted it to work but still not breaking. I wanted the door to be clear, but I also wanted it to actually be able to work. I used a layer of parchment paper and used white foam core around the edges. The parchment paper was a bit flimsy but if I used any other material it wouldn’t be clear.

This product addresses the needs of my client because she said she doesn’t like it when the chicken nuggets gets soggy and cold. The product I designed keeps the chicken nuggets warm and it sucks out the air so it doesn’t go soggy.

Overall, I think this product was a success because mostly everything turned out how I wanted it to even though there were a few small things that could’ve been better, I feel that the product was still a success.
