Stories of Future Driving Question

Before Stories of the Future, I used to not think about what our lives would look like in the future. Now I think that we will have to find places to store our water because of rising sea levels. For example, in Japan, they built a massive dam underground to store lots of floodwaters and ready for distribution. This is important to me because places like Japan have very concrete structures and roads, so the water stays and doesn’t get absorbed because that causes lots of floods.

I want to continue to take shorter showers. For example, my shower used to be 10 minutes now I only take 2 to 3 minutes. This means that the less that we use the more we can save.  Another change I want to make is to eat less meat.

Making An Brass Instrument Reflection

We had to make an instrument out of up-cycled things. Like water bottles, plastic tubes, water jugs, wood and carrots. We made the instrument so we could play hot crust buns. We needed to make pitch right so the sound and note are right. To create a higher pitch you need to have a smaller and thinner pipe. With a lower pitch longer and wider pipe for a lower pitch. The bell is big because it makes the instrument noise louder. With a small bell, makes the sound is quieter.

My biggest success was getting my materials together and getting ready to make.

My biggest obstacle was making all of my peases stick together.

Skills that I learned or developed were this you can’t stick to a thing together with gust tap you need to use hot glue. Some times it doesn’t work so you need to try and try again to get it right.

Tinkercad Collaboration

Dear Ryan.Y,

One of the places where this habitat connects to my story is in the forest. For example in the wood around Brig-born is when he is on a surprise trip and his in a house that above the ground and is a mushroom-shaped house. As a team

I am impressed by our listening to each other’s ideas. For example when we where making our house design we listened to each other’s ideas.

I think that is important to share responsibilities and get our work done on time. One thing that I can do is not do all of the work and give some to you and I will not enter your side of the house. I will try to manage my time better

Sincerely,

Ryan.Q

My biggest success was when I finished painting and it was finished.

My biggest obstacle was getting the white paint.

Skills that I learned or developed were I is easier to paint a specific area when you have masked of the rest so you mess up it will mot affect it.

I noticed that this picture shows how I express my way of thinking and my learning journey to the answer.

In this, I can express my feelings to words in this book.

I felt that these Exit slips help me reflect on what we have learned and let me tell the teachers what is going on inside my head. Looking forward to next week, I want to get more detail in my slips. I wonder if the slips will get harder and go into more detail the year will progress.

Driving Question Ryan 2

Before Project Self, I used to think that sitting next to your friend’s is then best way to be even if you do talk. Now I think that sitting next to your friend can get you distracted and lose focus. When you lose focus, you get of task and fall behind everybody else. This can hurt you experience because you need to tack more time. Then you don’t have time to do the fun stuff, you are stuck doing all of the work that is not fun.

Project Self helped me realize that making is not just sitting next to a person that will distract you. It’s Not letting yourself get distracted be the freedom you have on your laptop and not to abuse the power. As I continue learning in the future, I will try to keep on to my work in class and not sit next to some body that will distract me.

Becoming An Independent Learner

looking over the ratings my strength is being a thinker. For example, in class i tried to collect a range of sours for Pro’s and Con’s for my tech proposal. This shoes now that in am a good thinkers. Looking over my ratings, one thing i need to work on is my communication. This is important to me because communication is a big part of the modern life and I would like too improve on this skill.

Looking back on Project Self, when you are reading something complicated you need take your time so you get the full idea and reread it so you don’t miss any thing also to understand it properly. Looking back on Project Self, I work well on describing what’s there. – Skin—I realize that I need to work on capture the heart and form conclusion—Core—. Because I struggled with the conclusion on my tech proposal.
