I tried the media watercolor and it worked out okay. The color was just swirling around my page and there was a lot of water. (probably because I was adding too much of it). So I decided to use the media “Acrylic” because last year it worked out pretty well, and there were only small mistakes and not really big ones.

You can still work with watercolor if you want. It sounds like you have already learned not to use too much water. If you want to work with acrylic that is ok. Mistakes are good! Sometimes they can give you new ideas and inspiration. You like being precise with your art. That is fine, but perhaps look for a chance to let mistakes happen and let your imagination go!
