My original plan included the usage of FLORA tri colors LED, which was basically a multi-color LED. However, during the making and sewing process, we found out that the FLORA does not work as effectively, therefore I made the choice to eliminate it from my project, in addition to only using two LEDs ( One blue one red) on my project.  Furthermore, I’ve also changed the location where the “yellow duck face” is going to sew on, before it was supposed to be under the FLORA since now the FLORA is out of use, I re-located the piece on top of the button “B”, which is on the right.

Honestly, I’ve learned a lot during this project. First of all, I consider this project as a fail, however as Ms.Kim says it: “Fail is First. Attempt. In. Learning” I might as well take that into consideration.  A lot of things weren’t going as planned and were obviously going the wrong way. The FLORA led, for example, was supposed to be used in the project to further shows the project’s full potential, but that never happened due to the FLORA not connecting well. The orange hat was never intended to be there as it showed clumsiness and ugliness to the project, it was an urgent yet bad-produced re-cover for a stupid mistake I did when I accidentally chopped off 1/4 of the projects head, making it look almost “bald”. The same goes for the red eyes, I still regret making them before I sewed on the LED, it looks horrible and super ugly as well. The planned intention was to cover the LED with red eyes and have a slight hole to let the LED bulb come out and illuminate. My brainless mistake made me forget to sew on the LED first, now it looks super creepy and ugly. Lastly, I definitely need to remember to take all the materials I need home since my original plan was to velcro the LED pack on the back of the project, but I clearly forgot to bring the velcro home.  If I were to do this again or in a somewhat different way, I would definitely be careful of what I do, always double-check, and don’t make silly mistakes, and yes, next time I will for sure make it look way prettier than this ugly “thing” I’ve created.

These are pictures of my final project, both front, and backsides. As you can see the artistic features are clearly substandard, sorry for that I will definitely do better next time!

Just FYI, the LED lights up by clicking the button that is hidden under the yellow felt button piece.
