In this unit of product design we learnt about the different aesthetics that we like and how to design the speaker using affinity source. through out this project a part that I struggled with the most was the design part, at first I didn’t have a very clear vision of what the inside of the speaker would look, like such as where I would place the chip, how it would sit by itself and the access to the buttons which cause me to rethink and change my design to a smaller and simpler version of what I had at the start. If I could start from the beginning again a change I would make would be the staining of the wood, because it was my first time staining I didn’t know what would be the best way to stain it have the end product look good. But after staining a bit I found a good technique for me, so if I would start again I would change the way I stained my wood to make it look cleaner. After finishing the speaker the first song I played was an album song by TXT because it was that album’s aesthetic that I mainly based my speaker around.
