Abstract photography

I am looking forward to this unit as I think abstract in its own way gives a lot of freedom to what you can do.  “Abstract photography can be defined as capturing images in which the subject isn’t the most interesting element” This quote I think it means that abstract photography can be seen as noticing the little elements in life that we tend to miss or not think much about and making it into something interesting and pleasant to the eyes.

I think abstract photography refers to images taken with the intention of it feeling surreal, having the first instinct of it not being associated with physical things in the real world. From the video, I learned that during different time periods, different skills were used that were seen as “uncommon” or “never done before”
