Amelia Lost: the life and disappearance of Amelia Earhart by Candance Fleming is about the life of one of the greatest pilot of all time Amelia Earhart starting from birth and her amazing journey to becoming a successful and well known female. This story is a biography of her and the difficulties that she faces then overcoming them and proving she is able to do the impossible, as well as chasing her dreams and the records she breaks, ending the thought of how female can handle what males do.
This book was really fun to read learning about the events Amelia went through and how much of a difference she made in her life, also showing the idea of nothing is impossible as long as you believe and you’re not afraid.
One of the main central idea I came across in my book was: following your dream and achieving the impossible. I also came across a small theme idea which was sexism displayed in the time the story was held. I showed my ideas in these two pages:
In the next two pages are the achievements that Amelia accomplished big and small, and thoughts from other people through out her time on her and her disappearance . I also analysed a bit on the thoughts and how in the end Amelia’s perspective on her last journey.
Thank you for looking at my notes I took throughout the book and if you are interested in biographies, women who lead and flying/pilots, I would recommend this book to you.
