Thank you Mrs. Jones

This found poem is taken from pages two to three of the short story, “Thank You Ma’am” written by: Langton Hughes. The found poem shows the internal conflict of the boy. The internal conflict is running for the door or staying and listening to Mrs. Jones. The protagonist is the boy and the antagonist is Mrs. Jones. In the found poem there are sentences that show the conflict, for example, “I could run run run run run!” I want my reader to notice the way I used the font and the way the character is having internal conflict on staying and keeping the trust or running and betraying the trust between him and Mrs. Jones.
