Blog Post Reflection

Take a picture of your final apparatus (finished product). May include more than one.

Answer the following questions on a word document:

Why is engineering important?

Engineering is really important because it’s really helpful when we’re stuck in a problem. For example, we engineered a new way to filter and clean the water to make dirty water clean. (Still not drinkable)

What was your challenge?

The problem that our team faced, is that the water is clean, but there’s really less water coming out of our prototype.

Why did you choose that design?

We chose this design because it’ll filter the water really well.

How does it work?

Let the dirty water run through the different varieties of layers to filter the water.

Was your design successful?

Not really, the water didn’t really pass through. The only positive side is, we prove that the water can be really clean by using our prototype.

How might you change your apparatus if had the opportunity? (If no redesign)

I will use less cotton to reduce the water been sucked up, less Fabric, and the sieve are basically useless
