The final expectation (out of 3)laned between 1914 to 1917. The story is about 28 men trapped on ice for 14 months with three small lifeboats, a few dozen sled dogs, and a fast-shrinking supply of food racing with the most dangerous part of the seas of the planet to the nearest civilization which is 1000 miles away. The central idea of the book is humanities should come over pure salinities when making decisions because there is hope. the reason that Shackelton’s crew survived is becusae they still kept faith and hope, which saved them meant they did not give up(everyone did their best) and held them together when waiting for recuse.
