I am making a toy that represents the transfer of energy.

some ideas that went through use were:

cross bow

pro:  pretty cool

con: many people doing it, not creative, dangerous-not very well for educational purposes

rubber band car

pro: easy to use and understand.

con: easy to break

handshake the light bulb

pro: can make the students feel the consuming of energy/resistance there

con:just not very cool and creative

and a self-design that includes mixing the structure of saving energy in a music box and a light bulb together.

pro: very unique, probably only in the school every existed

con: no one has done it online, so if I had a logical mistake, no one can correct me

in the end, we decided to use the rubber band car because it is easy to make, reliable and the energy transfer is observable with the naked eye.

three videos we watched were:

my targeted audience is students who just begin learning about the concept of energy and power.( this product can also help represent how energy became power). As energy is not observable by the naked eye and is a new topic, somethings it is challenging to understand as a student. the product can show the energy transfer and is fun in the same time,
