lost in antartica- Collin

Lost in the antarctic is a book about the expedition to the south pole in 1915 of a British explorer-Shackelton, with evidence collected and rewritten by Tod Olson. in the age of exploration, countries raced to the south pole and the British exploration squad is the main character the book. The final expectation (out of 3)laned between 1914 to 1917. The story is about 28 men trapped on ice for 14 months with three small lifeboats, a few dozen sled dogs, and a fast-shrinking supply of food racing with the most dangerous part of the seas of the planet to the nearest civilization which is 1000 miles away. The central idea of the book is humanities should come over pure salinities when making decisions because there is hope. the reason that Shackelton’s crew survived is becusae they still kept faith and hope, which saved them meant they did not give up(everyone did their best) and held them together when waiting for recuse.

i am not your perfect Mexican daughter

in the video, I will be discussing the theme of I am not your perfect Mexican daughter by Erika L. Sanchez. The story is based on a girl called Julia, a fifteen-year-old ambitious and restless girl, finding the two big secrets behind her family. The main theme of the book is taking time to learn more about one’s identity helps one to better understand themselves. I will recommend this book to every teenager, as the book shows us Julia grows through being young and bold to a grown-up like every 15-year-old teenager.

am i a humanism?

found poem( button button by by Richard Matheson) CollinG

The poem can also can be understand/read as “if you are norma will  your moral be outcome by greed or curiosity” . The drawing i did is trying to show how norma is “controlled” by the willing for a better life causing her to press the button. There is a personification on slip beneath because your moral cannot literally slip underneath greed and curiosity .Only human can do it.the story is about the conflict of men vs society. Moral is the society or ourself restricting ourselves from doing things that will harm other’s benefit. On the other hand, greed and curiosity are both a part of humanity which lead to harm other to benefit yourself. The story’s main conflict is all about will restriction of society/moral be able to stop the main character-norma’s curiosity, greed and the want of a better life. The story’s theme is” don’t let money get the best of you” which will make you do thing that you will regret.
