This is a five minute video of the French Revolution in Plain English. The French Revolution is a period in history started approximately in 1789 and ended in 1799, lasting for around ten years. The most famous motto of the French Revolution is, “Liberty, Equality, Fraternity!”

The revolution was bloody and merciless, yet it was influential. A massive number of events occurred during the revolution, such as the “Tennis Court Oath” on 20th June of 1789, “The Declaration of the Rights of Man” on 26th August of 1789, as well as the “Reign of Terror” started from 5th September of 1793 and ended in 1795 that slaughtered millions of lives.
