– Revolution journals by Charles, in France, at the age of 30. The journal is broken down into three parts: Inception, Halfway, and Finale.
The French Revolution, a revolution full of anger, madness, and after all, joy. Accompanying by the fall of monarchy, emergence of the Jacobins, and finally the rise of Napoleon, great changes were made in our society. However, some other issues remained unchanged. The old regime was abolished, the general population was more equal, more rights were given to the people, and the government system completely changed. However, France still had problems from before the revolution. There were still famished people living without shelter. And after all the fighting, the idea of an absolute ruler still applied. France was still far from ideal; however, the France Revolution had inspired many other countries’ revolution later.
The French Revolution was a ten-year story. There was blood, violence, screaming, crying, however, they were also laughers and the united voice of yelling out the revolution chant. The temporary end of the revolution will not mark the end to the story. Later, the story will continue, and there will continue to be changes in the society, small or big.
