Wings

The wings are wires connected to the curtains and used to hang things that need to fly. Wings were initially controlled by ropes, and people had to pull on them to change the position of the wings. Now, branches are controlled by machines and motors. The wings are very flexible in space; they can go all the way up to the fly space and down to the arch of the stage.
Rooftop

The rooftop is at the very top of the theater; people cannot see the stage on the rooftop, and people onstage cannot know the rooftop either. This space is used to check if the wires of the wings are tight and if the machines that control the wires are usually working. People painted the knot of the wire with paint, so if they check and don’t see any color on the wires, it is loose and needs to be tightened again.
Follow Light

The follow-light is used to follow characters or objects usually used at the beginning or end of a play/show. It is up in the fly space because the lights produce loud sounds, and it has to be high, or the audience can hear. Follow-lights can change in color, and because it takes a long time to close and open back up again, there is a metal piece that stops and opens that follow-light in a show.
Flyspace

The fly space is a place to check and fix the lights on top of the theater. It is located in the highest area underneath the rooftop. Workers will go onto the fly space to check if the lights are in the right place and working. Also, the fly space connects to other areas like the follow-light room and technical rooms.
Dimmer Rack

The dimmer rack is the thing that controls and gives energy to all the lights in the theater. In the main theater, there is a whole room of dimmer racks located in a room below the fly space. Because the dimmer racks in the MSHS theater were built long ago, there was one rack for one light. Compared to the dimmer racks in the ES theater, the ones in the MSHS theater take up more energy and space.
