‘Moxie’ by Jennifer Mathieu is a contemporary fiction novel about the girls in a small town school revolt against the sexist values of the place they live in. The main character, Vivian Carter is a shy, quiet high school girl living among rampant sexism and harassment, and one day, she snaps. Vivian makes a feminist flyer, and eventually, a feminist revolution starts up (with some romance in the middle).
