In the short story “Tuesday of the other June” by Norma Fox Mazer is where the main protagonist June is having an external conflict with a main antagonist also called June. The “other June” (the antagonist June) would bully the protagonist June every Tuesday in swimming class by pinching her, and calling her names like fish eyes, buffalo brain, and turkey nose. In the found poem, I highlighted how the other June bullied the protagonist June and how the protagonist June didn’t want Tuesday to come because it would mean going to swimming class with the other June. The artwork around the words that are left out fills in the otherwise blank spots of the page and helps with both indicating where the words are more clearly, and making the page look more interesting and presentable.
