In this project we were tasked of creating something that visualised the knowledge or understanding of the concepts and shifts of energy. I had chosen a specific video for this particular section and did some brain-storming as well as experimenting to finalize my product.
Here is the photo of my Final product.
There were some things that went wrong. For one, I attached the wrong kind of fan, that was smaller and rotated in a way that it would SUCK IN air instead of blow. When i realized my mistake, it was too late to fix it. Another problem was getting the circuitry done. In a normal case this would not be very hard, but a few drops of melted solder wire snuck their way into the chamber as it burnt through the carboard and make the fan heavier. To this day they are still there and it is a hazard due to the fact it can come off at anytime and be chucked at lightspeed into someone’s eye or mouth. MY PRODUCT BARELY ENDED FUNCTIONING, AND NOT IN MY DESIRED WAY.
WHAT COULD’VE BEEN AVOIDED:
If I hadn’t misplaced my fan, there would be a higher success working rate of my product as the fan woutd overall – be better than the current one. I had to spend a while also adding a couple of features so that I could “ensure” that it looked like an “authentic” “vacuum” device.
WHAT I LEARNED FROM THIS:
Reflecting on my project, I overall could have done much better over the span of 2 weeks. If I had planned a bit more accordingly, and not have spent too much time looking for a project like this, I could have polished up and modified said project better than my current one.
