Structure- Set2

In set 2, I mainly focused on the sharp ends of the buildings that convey structure. The sharp edges create a distinct contrast against the surrounding environment, which helps define the building’s shape and outline, emphasizing its strong structural elements. Furthermore, the sharp ends also result from angular architectural features such as corners, edges, or projecting elements. These angular forms can convey a sense of stability and strength, as they suggest geometric precision and purposeful design, creating a strong visual impression. Additionally, I intentionally shot these photos at night with a dark environment. With a darker environment, it can often a stark contrast between illuminated areas and shadows. This contrast can enhance the structural elements of the subject, emphasizing lines, shapes, and textures. The interplay of light and shadow can bring out the three-dimensionality of objects and architectural features, adding depth and definition to the photo’s composition and structure.
