In this unit of  Product Design, we made a prototype of a thing that could solve one of our problems of food wastes. The prototype I made was called the pro heater 1000. It only heats up the inside but not the outside, making it crunchy and crispy. it solve the food cooling problems easily and decrease the foods we waste. My biggest success were the rounded corner of the heater and the opening layer of the box (Using straws). My biggest obstacle was making the straw opening layer. It took me a long time to think how could I make it just fit the shape of the main heater. At last, I solved the problem my cutting a little groove that can just fit the length of the straws. Something I want to change is making the top layer like the top layer of the apple air-pods. Creating more rounded corners and making it more touchable. Also, I want to add more details to my prototype, such as, the magnet that could connect the open layer and the main layer together. Overall, I think my prototype was a success since it clearly expressed my thinking of how the solve a food problem and decrease the amount of food waste.
