The American Revolution (Körbl Gantzmann’s Diary)

This 16 year old boy, named Körbl was still confused about the situation where he lived. He was still struggle by whether he did the right thing or not. By reading his journal, you will learn the life being a soldier and how he grew as a man as you went through.

The United States of America was founded once the American Revolution came to a close with America’s victory. After the United States was formed, some things changed and others did not. Its primary achievements and improvements include the prospect of land expansions, political power in the hands of regular men, a new government structure, separation of church and state, and inheritance rules that allow daughters and sons to inherit. On the other side, slavery continued to exist in the South, the rights of women, slaves, and Native Americans were not specified, white and wealthy males remained in power, wealthy landowners or merchants dominated politics, and ultimately, religious freedom was not guaranteed.
