I think the smell and the amount of wax I put in is okay, but I should add the flowers later. In this trial, I added the flowers just a little after I poured in the wax into the jar. But as I observed, the candle cools very slowly, and as it cools, the color darkens, and the middle sinks down. The flowers sink into the candle wax. And as the color gets deeper, you barely can see the flowers and what it looks like. So, to improve my next trial, I will need to add in the flowers later, when the bottom is cooled and the top is starting to cool, not in a too liquid form.
So in my procedures, I will be changing the time when putting in the flowers. In my procedures, I will also be changing how I melt the soy wax. As I observed, if I but all the wax in at the same time, it will take a long time to melt. But if I only put in a little wax in first, it will heat and melt the wax faster, and as it melts, I can add more wax in a little a time to make it melt all the wax faster. So in my procedures, I will change it to melt only a portion of the total wax first, and then gradually adding in more wax to make it melt faster.
