Above, is a mini-movie we have created during the Capstone Unit. I have used a documentary style to display the importance of the issue, as well as various solutions and mentalities to achieve the problem.

Throughout the creation process, the most challenging part was to record me introducing the topic and explaining initiatives we could take. I originally planned to have a script nearby, so I could record the whole clip once and read the script throughout. However, I find the outcome quite disappointing, my eyes weren’t engaging enough since I constantly stared at the script, making my eyes shift to the right. However, I overcame this problem by splitting my recordings into various smaller sections, so I could memorize my lines. This resulted in better eye contact, and I could even focus more on the tone and speed of how I delivered my voice.

I enjoyed making this video because it helped enhance my creative skills and also strengthened my knowledge of the topic. Moreover, the process was entertaining; I’ve discovered lots of media websites and engaging videos I can incorporate hereafter in my future research projects.
