5. The Yellow Selection
I select 20 out of the 110 photos I took as the Yellow Selection. One similarity of these photographs is that they have achieved at least one main idea of my vision, which are color and composition. Furthermore, the subjects in these pictures are mostly architecture or other common objects that we often see in real life. Another element that I am aware of when taking photographs is light; some pictures used light as a highlight of the image, making the photo look abstract. However, these photographs are effective, color and composition are best represented in them.
6. The Green Selection
For the Green Selection, I choose photos that best demonstrate my vision—color, and composition. At the same time, these photos are not only consistent with these two points, but more importantly, the colors and subjects can be well integrated and balanced. Moreover, they show the charm of large buildings and simple subjects in our life, conveying my vision/message to my viewers.
7. The Red Selection
When come to the Red Selection, my standard became more strict; color, composition, and other elements must be perfectly integrated. The subjects in these pictures are large architecture, presenting the beauty of architecture and our life, which perfectly match with my vision. Also, taking my final triptych into consideration, I choose pictures that can work together except for the last picture. The reason for me choosing the last picture as the Red Selection is that I want to work on a style similar to this photo.
