This unit, learning about the Mexican Revolution allowed me to learn many new things about the revolution that I didn’t know before. For this project, we were assigned to create a narrative journal based on a person that lived during the revolution, similar to the Russian revolution journal we did before. With this project, I had a hard time coming up with a character, and three events they have experienced. At last, I made my character a solider that became a normal peasant. In my first entry, my character Antonio resigned from the army because of the sickness he had, and he wrote about his experience when a new president was elected. In the second entry, Antonio returned to the army and fought in a battle. In the third entry, was after the revolution ended, and he flashed back to a time when he and his brother Francisco was kip-napped.
