Humanism was promoted during the Renaissance, during the 15th to 16th centuries. People improved life using these aspects of humanism: individualism, secularism, realism, asking questions, and education. I gave myself 5 points for individualism because I agree that if everyone tries hard, everyone can be successful. I gave myself a 3  on realism because I think that things can be explained with a scientific explanation, but some can’t. I gave myself a 5 on secularism, because I don’t believe in any religions, and I believe that everyone should enjoy their life right now. I gave myself a 3.5 for challenging old thinking because I think we should just move on to what we think it’s right, not always thinking how history’s wrong. Lastly, I gave myself a 4, because education’s important all the time and it’s important to receive good education for everyone. Overall, I am 82% a humanist.
