Recently, I was studying about the Mexican Revolution, and I was assigned to create an eBook about a character in the revolution. I created this character on my own, but all the events were based on what we had studied. The Mexican Revolution was really interesting and chaotic, and it changed five presidents in only ten years. My character is called Antonio. He was in the army of Zapata, who was one of the revolutionary heroes of the Mexican Revolution. If you want to find out more about Antonio and the thing happened in this crazy period, check this out!

I Am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter – Book Talk
Introduction
In this Book Talk, I introduce the book I Am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter in a five-minute video, including the summary and the theme of the story. I used three quotes as evidence to support the theme. The theme of the story is that taking the time to learn more about one’s family, roots, and cultural identity helps one to better understand themselves in the end. I really recommend this book to people who have problems with their families, especially teenagers around 15 years old.
