My project is an Among Us character singing with interactive fabric that lights up LEDs and makes music.

I changed a lot of things during the processing stage since things weren’t working correctly if followed the plan. First, the plan was to cut the parts and sew them to the fabric, but it turned out that the hand was too big so I had to make the size smaller. Then, I changed the location of the circuit playground and what pin each thing is connected to.  Thay way, it’s easier to connect the parts together and things would start to work. I ended up removing a piece of fabric (it was supposed to have three) since I ran out of time sewing. When I was testing if my circuit works, the LEDs weren’t lighting up so I had to put a tiny piece of fabric between a conductive thread to make it not touch the negative thread. I also changed my code since the song was repeating forever.

In this project, I learned how to use a circuit playground and connect coding with my circuit project. Also, even little mistakes of sewing can lead to major problems when your project is not working. It was REALLY annoying sewing the parts and connecting the LEDs so make sure to be careful and check the spacing. If I’m doing something similar to this in the future, I would spend more time checking my sewing and making it more perfect, the coding would be more complicating and stuff will be added. Some suggestions would be to sew carefully so it doesn’t touch other threads or fabric.
