My story is called “Tuesday of the Other June” written by Norma Fox Mazer. A brief summary of the story is that there’s a kid named June and she’s attending a new school and getting bullied in swimming class by another kid with the same name as her. The conflict of this story is external since it’s character vs. character. For example, the antagonist is June and the protagonist is the other June that keeps bullying. My poem is about June fighting back against the other June and finally beats her which shows the conflict between the two Junes. My design is just a simple drawing of June swimming.
