The primary area for improvement would be the consolidation of the battery storage. The connection between the wheels and the motors. As I simply connected the two components with hot glue, the effects were not as ideal, causing minor instabilities in the car’s movements. It was also laborious if we had to substitute the wheels for any reason, such as changing the directions of the motors.

During this project, I learned the importance of proceeding with caution. It is imperative to have a solid outline that you are conforming to. For example, the arrangements of the wires and motors were constantly adjusted, occasionally because the car was not functioning as expected. For most of the processes, I devoted myself to manufacturing while lacking time to formulate a plan and design the components utilized.

The electric car exhibits an energy conversion of chemical potential to kinetic energy. The chemical potential energy stored within the battery is delivered through the positive and negative wires and travels throughout the circuit. Once the energy encounters the motor, the reaction makes the motors spin, thus creating kinetic energy.

Regarding the success criteria, I have made practical improvements to ensure the car’s safety. By stabilizing the temperature and reducing the surface area of circuit exposures using cardboard, I can prevent possible damage. The adjustments of the batteries also consolidated the sustainability of the car’s velocity and directed movements.
