I developed my final triptych with reference to Keld Helmer-Petersen, hoping to address the architectural features of buildings we do not usually pay attention to. From viewing my photos, I want to share my conviction to appreciate the inherent and intrinsic beauty displayed by mundane and ordinary objects. It is interesting to observe how elements of pattern, texture, and shape intertwine to construct an image that is visually captivating. I employed different strategies in taking these photos, such as using different angles and distances, as it would effect the ultimate visual effects. Different from Keld Helmer-Peterson, my photos are inclined to capture intact shapes from different angles, making them visually distorted and difficult to discern. If I had more time, I would be more generous in taking photos, making a vast range of photos to select from as opposed to being selective at the beginning.
