Hutong photoset vision:
My message in my photos is to embrace the beauty in daily life and the diverse people around us, young or old. I want my audience to look at my photos and feel the culture and humanity. They should feel proud and warm as they connect with the images, seeing stories behind each moment. I will get inspiration from the Hutong, observing the varied lives of people there, capturing candid moments of their daily routines—whether it’s riding a bike, taking a walk, or two people having a conversation. To enhance the emotional depth of my photographs, I will employ techniques such as using different angles like, shooting from above to capture the perspective below, or from below to emphasize the stature and presence of my subjects. I also plan to incorporate the technique of layering in my compositions. By including elements in the foreground, middle ground, and background, I can create a sense of depth and context, allowing viewers to connect themselves in the scene. I believe it is essential to recognize that beauty exists in every moment of our daily lives, and that every person has their own unique beauty, regardless of age. Through my lens, I hope to reveal these hidden gems and celebrate the beauty in our shared humanity.
