Humanism Infographic (Renaissance)

The 4 elements i picked to write in my infographic is: Hedonism, Individualism, Education and Invention.

The 4 I picked all show my opinion in Humanism, I think its very important to have theses elements in humanism.

For Hedonism, I give a 3/5 rank. I think it’s very important to help ourselves in which is needed, and work for a purpose, but also to help others, and not only have one purpose to work/do “things”.

For Individualism, I give a 4/5 rank. Even though I am not a person that is very individual, but i still understand that when people are working by themselves more work gets put in, and there are less distractions and disagreements.

For Education, I give a 5/5 rank. I very much believe in education and thinks that everyone should have the right to have education and learn important lessons. Education helps people become, individual, and makes sure they can be.

For Invention, i give a 4/5 rank. Inventions that were created back before are a very much help to now-days, (eg. the printing press for books, or the telescope for science learnings now-days). It also shows education held, as you would need it to invent/create things.

“Blue Suede Shoes” (Thank You Ma’m)

EXTERNAL (character to character) CONFLICT:

An external conflict started at the beginning in the book “Thank You Ma’m” where the young boy Roger tries to steal the woman’s pocketbook. In the Found Poem, I highlighted parts like “woman with purse” in the beginning she was walking on a lane with her purse. Then, “a boy ran and tried to snatch” is when the boy spots the purse and tries to snatch it. And then “boy fell, ran, woman kicked and shooked boy” is when the boy couldn’t get the purse the strap of the purse broke and he fell, after the woman was mad and she used violence to the boy. My poem connects to my picture because, they conflict is because this boy wants to buy blue suedes shoes, but he doesn’t have the money, he also can’t ask from his family, so he chooses to steal from someone random. My picture is a pair of blue suedes shoes and the color I used to highlight is also blue. So my picture and poem are connected.
