Problem: It’s getting cold and the hot drinks get cold easily in the mug. We have to make a thing to stop the hot drink from getting cold easily, the thing has to look nice and can’t bother the user from drinking from the mug.

Process: Our group first made a design. After we all agreed on it, we got our first model. We then used the model to trace out our final product. We soon found out a problem. The handle was blocking the cap from covering up the mug, so we made a new one and cute a sided of it, so it fits perfectly.

C.E.R: Our product worked really well because due to our data the temperature of the hot water only dropped 11.1 degrees and without our product, it dropped 20.9 degrees. It kept the heat well because we added a lot of tin foil and the foam held the tin foil from being squashed.

Conclusion: I am proud of our product and design because it was a success. The hardest part was figuring out how to stabilize the tinfoil and not being crushed all the time. But at last, we still got it right.
