A Bloody Struggle Through Land Reform
Hi, I’m Francisco Carrillo I grew up with the haciendas. My father owned lots of land and slaves. After my father passed away I started to work on my own. During the revolution my beliefs really changed. Is it really good to only let the rich benefit? Is it fair to the lower class? I lived through this crazy time period. If you want to know what happened read my journal to find out.
After this revolution the adjustments are made dictatorship ended and they established a constitutional republic. Not only that but they also got land reform for the peasants. There are also problems that remained such as the majority of the population is still poor.
After the revolution we got land reform and we got rid of the dictator, we know whats good for us and our country. The gap between social classes starts to grow closer. Even though the haciendas loss lots of land but when I saw the smile of their faces I knew poverty isn’t what we want and everyone wants to be treated equally.

$50,000

Hi, I’m Emily. This is my found poem. The original text I used to create this found poem is Button, Button by Richard Matheson. In my found poem I tried to show the external conflict of Norma fighting with Arthur because of their different values. The protagonist in the story is Norma the antagonist is Arthur. The sections I used are from page 1-5. I used a lot of dialogue in my found poem to show the conflict going on between Norma and Arthur. The result in the end is after Norma pressed the button Arthur died. The Story was about the protagonist Norma and the Antagonist Arthur got into a conflict about the button. If you press the button you’ll get 50,000 dollars and someone you don’t know is going to die. Norma wanted the money, Arthur wanted to save other’s lives.
